The City School Capital Campus on Wednesday organized an outreach programme titled ‘Little Beans in Wonderland’ to show the City School’s practices in classroom and co-curricular activities.
The three-hour event at the Centaurus Shopping Mall featured a number of interesting events including tableaus, display of creative skills, taekwondo, speeches, songs and other entertaining performances, all by the students of the Pre Junior Section (Class 1-2).
The spectacular event pulled quite a large crowd and not only visitors, customers and staff at the shopping mall enjoyed themselves with the performances of the students but parents and children of the City School also came from far and off to make it a memorable day of their life.
Ms HooriaNiazi, Headmistress of the Pre Junior Section along with Principal, SumairaTauseef and other staff members briefed the visitors about the school and its achievements so far. She also made sure students performed to the best of their potential. A number of desks were also set up there for information and introduction of the City School and one could see people taking pamphlets, brochures, and other informative material showing keen interest in the school and its education practices.
While talking to Pakistan Observer, Principal SumairaTauseef said since its launch, the City School has worked hard to develop each of its students into true learners, individuals who always seek to broaden their perspective and face life challenges with courage and conviction.
“Our students are not only well-versed in science, Maths and other subjects they have also inculcated in themselves human values such as teamwork, empathy, sharing and self-confidence,” said SumairaTauseef. The City School’s young students during the outreach event also showed remarkable awareness about preserving wildlife, recycling plastics, zero hunger, wellbeing, clean water and sanitation issues.
