Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Chaudhary Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Wednesday visited Blue Area Parking Plaza and other development projects of the city along with officers of concerned formations.
During briefing, the Chairman CDA was told that the parking plaza will consist of two basements, ground and 5 floors. In which 1200 vehicles can be parked simultaneously. Similarly, there were 18 shops on the first floor of the parking plaza, a restaurant and a cafe on the rooftop will also be constructed.
Issuing instructions on the occasion, Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that the construction of shops on the ground floor should be completed in 20 days which will be allotted through auction/rental basis.
Similarly, shops on the first floor of the parking plaza towards Jinnah Avenue should be allotted on auction/rental basis. He further said that the construction of Blue Area Parking Plaza should be completed by the first week of June. He said that further delay in the parking plaza project will not be tolerated and the completion deadline will not be extended.
Moreover, the Chairman CDA also visited the Jinnah Avenue Blue Area F-9/G-9 development project. Chairman reviewed the progress of construction work on the project.
During a briefing on this occasion, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa was apprised that the total length of the project is 1.8 kilometer which will be completed at a cost of 480 million rupees. Similarly, under the Jinnah Avenue expansion project, two lanes will be added on each side of the avenue.
