The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has accelerated its anti-encroachment operations across the Federal Capital.
According to details, the second massive operation was conducted in Federal Capital sector F-6/4, where the representatives of the Ministry of Works and the CDA anti-encroachment staff, in a joint operation has demolished encroachments outside government residences using heavy machinery to clear dozens of sheds, garages, removed fences, additional gate and boundary walls and handed over the government land.
Where machinery access was not possible, regular grinders and generators were arranged and removed encroachments with the help of grinders.
Authority also conducted operation against encroachments in the area of Saniyadi village, the anti-encroachment team deployed there took timely action and demolished the under-construction house and foiled the encroachment attempt. In Jaba Teli area, two walls and a water tank were demolished and the attempt to occupy was foiled.
Operation also launched in Khanna Bridge area where the sellers often came to the road and Khanna Loop, which blocked the road, the anti-encroachment staff took full action and confiscated one truckload of goods.
Earlier, CDA Chairman Capt.(retd.) Noor-ul-Amin Mengal in a meeting directed the officers to early complete the ongoing development project. He strictly directed to remove encroachments in the way of ongoing development projects, especially IJP Road, Behara Kahu Project, 11th Avenue along with clean and pure water delivery.
