Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed serious concerns over disunity across the country, stressing to bury old school politics in order to steer the country out of crises.

“I may have differences with the top leadership of the other political parties but I give due respect to the workers of every political party. Putting the rival political leaders into jails, accusing them and taking revenge is present day politics but all that damages us,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) in connection with a ceremony related to the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution on Tuesday.

Bilawal Bhutto held Imran Khan responsible “We must accept the fact that it was Imran Khan who introduced such politics in the country despite the fact that we used to oppose such kind of politics,” said the PPP chairman.

He said that they always said that every state institution should work within the constitutional limits and that was the politics.

The PPP chairman emphasized upon the unity of the political parties if they really wanted to steer the country out of the crises and different challenges.

“At the moment, the country has been surrounded by financial and security challenges, and if we continue this traditional politics we will not be able to confront these challenges,” he contended.

He also argued that if they, being the politicians, worked within their limits they could force the others to work within their limits.

“Unless we make a decision collectively, and with unity, we cannot take the country out of the crisis,” he further said.
