Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has voiced his strong support for girls around the world in his message marking the International Day of the Girl Child 2024. He highlighted the significance of this year’s United Nations theme, “Girls’ vision for the future,” which celebrates the potential girls hold when given the chance to dream, lead, and shape a brighter world. “Girls are the architects of tomorrow, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure they have access to opportunities and resources to realize their full potential,” Chairman Bhutto Zardari stated.
He further stressed that listening to girls and encouraging their ambitions is key to progress, adding, “When we invest in their vision, we create a stronger and more prosperous future for everyone.” The PPP leader reaffirmed his party’s dedication to advancing girls’ education, safeguarding their rights, and promoting gender equality. He emphasized that these goals are crucial for building a just society where every girl has the opportunity to succeed without hindrance. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on governments, civil society organizations, and communities to unite in advocating for girls’ rights, nurturing their dreams, and working together to turn those dreams into reality.
