Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Mustafa Kamal on Thursday said that the biased Sindh government considers Karachi as its Colony and continues to plunder its rights and resources like East India Company had colonized the subcontinent.

“The Yazidi government of the PPP, which is all set to burden Karachites with yet another municipal services tax through K-Electric, does not want to provide even drinking water to Karachi.”He said it has failed to ensure garbage disposal, provision of transport, and medicine in hospitals and education in schools. But it is always ready to loot Karachi resources.

“During my tenure, if a modest tax was collected, the people could see their problems being resolved, garbage was being picked up from in front of people’s houses, infrastructure was being improved, water projects were being implemented, free of cost best treatment facilities were being provided to the poor in hospitals, standard parks were being set up for public recreation.”

Mustafa Kamalsaid the world, including Pakistan, appreciated and acknowledged my tenure. Karachi was included in the four fastest growing cities in the world, people were happily paying meager taxes.

While the PPP-biased Sindh government increases the tax burden on the people but does not provide even basic services to them. He expressed these views while addressing the dignitaries of Cantonment Board Delhi Colony Ward 8 and Ward 9.

Party President Anis Ahmed KaimKhani and other central leaders were also present on the occasion.

Kamal added that the pseudo champion of democracy, the PPP, is itself has not only wrapped up local bodies set up but also doesn’t want to hold local bodies elections, which is regarded as the foundation of democracy.
