The former director-general of the Federal Investigation Agency Bashir Memon has been appointed as the Sindh president of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, the party said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Shehbaz Sharif-led party has made this crucial organisational change, by opting for the former bureaucrat for the top provincial position. Meanwhile, Shah Muhammad Shah the incumbent provincial chief has been elevated as the party’s vice president.
