Islamabad
The Ministry of Finance has recommended the ap-pointment of Asif Mehmood Jah as federal tax om-budsman in place of Mushtaq Sukhera who has completed his term in the office, it was learnt on Monday.
Sources said Jah, who belongs to Pakistan Customs, has even applied for premature retirement from the department.
President Arif Alvi will give approval to Jah’s ap-pointment following advice by Prime Minister Im-ran Khan.—INP
