Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the First Lady and Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, participated in the prestigious Global Women’s Forum held in Dubai. The event, organized by the Dubai Women Establishment, focused on women’s empowerment and gender balance. The inaugural session of the forum was graced by prominent global leaders, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Emine Erdogan, the First Lady of Turkey, and Louise Araneta Marcos, the First Lady of the Philippines.
The forum attracted around 6,000 dignitaries and advocates for gender equality. During the event, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari participated in a panel discussion where she highlighted the significant contributions of women in Pakistan, underscoring the role they play in shaping the nation’s social, political, and economic landscape. On the sidelines of the forum, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari engaged in a bilateral meeting with Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and a member of the Dubai Executive Council. The meeting aimed to discuss collaborative efforts between Pakistan and Dubai, particularly in the fields of culture and women’s empowerment.
Throughout the two-day event, Aseefa also had valuable interactions with Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Dubai Women Establishment. The discussions centered around furthering the role of women in leadership and fostering international cooperation to create better opportunities for women globally.
