The way Karachi Arts Council stands with artists in every bad time is commendable, I have learned the most in my life, I learn something every day from my juniors.” These views are expressed by the legendary actor Qavi Khan at a gathering held in his honour at the Karachi Arts Council on Thursday. Sharing his life experiences, the famous artist said that there is a lot of silence and loneliness in my life. I am satisfied by entrusting everything to Allah and it would be a great pleasure to live with my faith. Acknowledging the services of President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah, Qavi Khan said that he has a wonderful personality. Paying homage to his life, the Arts Council is the best institution that stands by the happiness or sorrow of the artists in every situation. Qavi Khan shared various experiences of his life with the audience Speaking to large audience, senior actor Aurangzeb Leghari said that it would be a big deal for Qavi Khan to say something. Qawi Khan taught me the style of acting, whatever I am today, if I subtract Qavi Khan, it is nothing. He further said that he was very grateful to the settlement built by Ahmad Shah. On this occasion, senior actor Munawar Saeed said that the relationship with Qavi Khan is 60 years old, Qavi Khan was the person who introduced me on TV, I pray to Allah to give more honour to Qavi Khan. President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah highlighted various aspects of Qavi’s life. Dr Huma Mir also many shed some light on the veteran actor. A large number of people attended the event.
