Internet users are raising concerns with service providers about drastically slow internet speeds in Pakistan.

The internet speed in Pakistan remained below par due to two separate incidents of fibre-optic cables connecting Asian nation to a global network which were cut recently, exacerbating internet connectivity problems nationwide.

Slow Internet Speed in Pakistan

It has been learnt that these cuts will significantly impact both mobile and landline internet users in these days.

As people, especially those working remotely and freelancers, are bearing brunt of internet disruption, efforts are underway to repair severed cables, including SMW Four SMW Fa routes via Dubai and Oman.

Some telecom giants also notified users via messages about slow internet speeds due to submarine cut.
