Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed grave concern over the dete-riorating situation in the territory.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that IIOJK had been completely besieged by more than one million Indian forces, especially after 5th August 2019 when Modi-led fascist Indian government repealed its special status and imposed military siege.
Condemning the use of brute force by the Indian fascist regime to suppress the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people, he said that it was not a matter of power-sharing or that of a piece of land to be vivisected between the parties concerned.
He added that it related to the destiny of a nation who had rendered innumerable sacrifices in kind of sacred blood, honour and material property for its freedom from Indian illegal occupation.
The spokesman said that the political gimmicks played by India at every critical juncture of freedom movement had yielded nothing to India which was still in false hopes to silent the people of Kashmir with the help of its military might.
He said, Kashmir dispute is far above the Constitution of India, so India should shun its rhetoric of proposing any solu-tion within the Constitution of India, which has been, time and again rejected by the freedom-loving people of Kashmir.
The APHC spokesman maintained that since Kashmir was a political dispute and there could not be any military solution to it.
It is imperative for permanent peace and prosperity of the South Asia that the people of Kashmir be allowed to decide their political future through a free and fair plebi-scite, recognised as a legitimate.–KMS
