An anti-encroachment force comprising city wardens and a charged parking force have been set up. City wardens will be on duty with anti-encroachment staff. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani. He said that encroachments on the sidewalks were being carried out. The city has been left in a state of disrepair, with the involvement of city wardens in anti-encroachment will increase efficiency and indiscriminate action will be taken by anti-encroachment force in city wardens to eliminate encroachments, he said. City wardens will also be deployed for the purpose. City wardens have been deployed to park the parking in an orderly manner. Administrator Karachi said that the awkward parking in the city has affected the flow of traffic, City Wardens said. They are the vanguard and present at every opportunity City wardens will be upgraded and made more functional and efficient for the city, he said, adding that city wardens will be used in the best interest of the city while regular new uniforms will be provided to wardens.
