LAHORE – Senior politician Andleeb Abbas and two other former lawmakers announced joining the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
The estranged leaders held a press conference along with Firdous Ashiq Awan and other IPP leaders. Andleeb, the former lawmaker, said they decided to move forward by letting go of the past. Right now, the country is facing a rough patch.
Awan said IPP welcomes new members and the family continues to increase.
Sadia Sohail and Sameera Ahmed were the other two members who joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
Earlier, top leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf jumped the party including the secretary general, in back-to-back blows to the embattled Imran Khan.
