All Pakistan Chinese Association celebrated 75 years of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China on September 25th, at Shamadan Hall, Serena Hotel, Islamabad.
The event marked 75 years of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China and gathered notable figures from both countries to discuss the enduring journey.
The event was attended by Shi Yuanqiang Minister of Chinese Embassy Pakistan, Member National Assembly Danial Chaudhry, Ambassador of China to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and La Jielian, President of Overseas Chinese Association Pakistan.
Shi Yuanqiang, Minister of Chinese Embassy Pakistan stated that through the 75 years of continuous endeavors Chinese nation stood strong. On its foundation the People’s Republic of China faced several challenges. Mao Zaidong, the key figure behind the 1949 Revolution of China explained that China did not possess capacity to build tractor at the time but the nation showed capability and determination to advance.
It is not surprising that 75 years later Chinese enterprises produce more than half of the world electric vehicles offering most cost effecting options. Additionally, joint ventures with Pakistan has allowed to produce electric vehicles to contribute to Pakistan’s green development. China has been leading global trade in electric vehicles.
China has managed to lift 70 million rural people out of poverty. The improvement of social security system, medical health and education has contributed to reduction of poverty. China GDP increased of 5% in H1, first half of the year.
China concluded the 3rd plenary session where of Communist Party of China made strategic arrangement for deepening reforms and for Chinese modernization. ‘This will greatly benefit our iron brother Pakistan.’ Shi Yuanqiang explained.
China wants to build community with share future that is universally beneficial and entertains inclusive civilization. The China Pakistan friendship is deep rooted and long standing with a strategic partnership. The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan attended embassy event on China’s National Day this year. CPEC has furthered deepened this relationship through economic and social development in Pakistan.
