Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited University of Engineering and Technology Lahore and had a meeting with Engr Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar. On this occasion both the Vice Chancellors exchanged academic and developmental activities going on in both the universities and prospects of collaboration in teaching and research in both the institutions. Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob apprised Engr Dr Mansoor Sarwar about recent admissions of fall semester and induction of 8000 students. He said that university has opened evening classes to expand higher education opportunities to students. New academic programmes having market demand have been initiated including Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences and Nursing. The university has also inducted 100 PhD faculty members recently through selection boards.
