The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of its leading member Haji Bashir Ahmad Mir and paid tribute to him for his valuable services and sacrifices towards the organisation and his deep association with the Mirwaiz family.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the party leadership, especially its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, termed the demise of Haji Bashir Ahmad Mir as a loss for the organisation and said the deceased had dedicated his entire life for a great cause.
Haji Mir Sahib had been instrumental in shaping the principles of the organisation from its inception, following in the footsteps of the AAC founder Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq, and continued to take forward the principled stance of the Awami Action Committee at every step along with him.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq extended his condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.
