Eminent writer and poet of Austria Marianne Jungmaier on Wednesday read out a number of poems and excerpts from her acclaimed novel ‘The Cake Protocol’ to the sheer joy of the audience.
This goes to the credit of Austrian envoy’s wife Ursula Keller to find an opportunity with the young fiction writer who was recently in Pakistan to attend Lahore Literature Festival (LLF) and is considered one of the representative voices of Austria in fiction writing.
One could see spouses of the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries attending the session. Director of Alliance Francaise Ali Bhatti, curator and founder of the Nomad Art Gallery Nageen Hayat and some close friends were also there to enjoy themselves listening to Austrian writer.
