CMOs demand tax relief for customers

KARACHI Cellular mobile operators demanded off the government for suspension of withholding and general sales tax on a temporary basis on their services in order to pass on relief to customers during the prevailing situation. Officials of the telecom companies said the removal of taxes on the service particularly mobile broadband and data will ease off the burden of the customers in general who could additionally use the service alternatively without paying extra money.
