Motorway Police south zone launches crackdown on overloaded vehicles

The Motorway Police South Zone has initiated a crackdown on overloaded vehicles. The operation aims to ensure the safety and maintenance of national highways and motorways across the region. Inspector General (IG) of Motorway Police, Rafat Mukhtar Raja, has directed authorities to intensify action against overloaded vehicles. These vehicles will not be permitted to enter motorways and national highways under any circumstances. Overloaded vehicles are being turned away from all toll plazas and interchanges. In addition, legal action will be taken against the owners and companies involved in overloading, with cases being filed according to the law.
