LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced various schemes such as distribution of scholarship, bikes and laptops among students in order to provide them maximum facilities.
The distribution of scholarships and bikes has begun in various cities of Punjab while students are now waiting for the laptops. Last month, the chief minister had set a target of 90 days for providing laptops to students.
The chief minister has directed to provide laptops to 2000 minority students. She directed to provide laptops to Matriculation and F.Sc position holder students.
Punjab Students Free Laptop Specifications
Pnjab students will be given the latest Core-i7, 13th generation laptops, as per official statement.
Under the program, 20,000 students from universities, 14,000 from colleges, 4000 from technical and agricultural colleges and 2000 from medical and dental colleges will be given laptops. 32 percent of students who receive laptops will include students from South Punjab.
The students of Computer Science, Medical, Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, Language, Veterinary and Agriculture will be also given Core i7 laptops.

Earlier this month, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz announced that distribution of laptops will commence from January 2025.
