In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has strongly condemned the suicide attack on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan.
At least 57 people were martyred and over 194 others injured in a suicide blast at a mosque in Peshawar during Friday prayers.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to a renowned religious scholar and Imam of Jamia Masjid, Irshad Hussain Khalil and dozens of other martyrs, who were martyred in the inhuman tragedy and offered condolences to the families of the martyrs.
Meanwhile, a large number of people staged a protest in Budgam against the tragedy.
Agha Syed Mujtaba Abbas Al Moosvi also participated in the protest.
Talking to reporters on the occasion, Agha Syed Mujtaba strongly denounced the Peshawar suicide attack and said that it was no secret that foreign elements were trying to foster professional extremism to destabilize Pakistan.—KMS
