A comprehensive campaign regarding shifting of electricity wires crossing over or close to the houses and removal of tilted poles is continuous in all five operation circles of IESCO on departmental expenditures.
IESCO Chief Shahid Iqbal Ch. in his statement briefed that so far 7626 dangerous points highlighted by field formations and customers in region and 6002 points have been secured by shifting dangerous electricity wires to safe locations and by removing tilted poles. Chief told that 955.974 million spend on above works. Chief said that we will take every step which will protect the lives of customers and our line staff.
Chief passed instructions to filed formation to create awareness in general public to avoid construction near or under the power installations, if any one take such steps, for legal proceedings applications may submit in police stations against them, as there will no compromise of safety.
