Nine Kashmiri students were arrested after being assaulted and booked in a fake case in Rajasthan state of India. According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place when a gang affiliated with Hindutva orgaizations attacked the Kashmiri students studying at the Mewar University of Rajasthan. The students were outnumbered and assaulted by the goons. Officials at the University sided with the attackers, and even filed a complaint at the Gangrar police station against the victim students. Nine Kashmiri students were arrested by the police.—KMS
