A high-level delegation from the 39th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) of the National Institute of Management, Government of Pakistan, visited the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation head office.
The delegation, led by CEO of Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, included COO Engineer Asadullah Khan and other officials. The group inspected the Hydrants Management Center and commended the CEO for his efforts.
During the meeting, CEO Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed briefed the delegation on ongoing reforms, including the establishment of a complaint management portal for citizens’ convenience.
COO Engineer Asadullah Khane highlighted plans to increase the capacity of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III from 54 MGD to 100 MGD with the support of the Sindh Government. The CEO emphasized the need for urgent attention to the city’s water supply, citing a significant population increase without a corresponding rise in water availability.

Dhabeji Pumping Station which supplies water to Karachi City, on this occasion, COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan gave a detailed briefing to the delegation regarding Dhabeji Pumping Station, on the occasion of the visit, Chief Engineer Water Corporation Intekhab Ahmed Rajput, Qurban Magsi, Azhar Qazi, Iqbal Palijo, Akhlaq Rajput, Ajaz Buledi, Nadeem Aziz and other officers were present.
According to the spokesperson of Water Corporation, a delegation of thirty eight officers from departments attached to federal, provincial and autonomous bodies is visiting various departments of the country under a special training program, the purpose of the visit is to enhance the officers’ capacity to take on more responsibility and increase their professional skills, the purpose of the delegation’s visit to the Water Corporation is to see and shed light on the water supply and drainage system in the mega city, the purpose of the visit is to give the delegation an opportunity to study the administrative structure of various departments and the economic conditions of the country.
