2023 is the year for youth, says Arab League

The Arab League has launched 2023 as the year of youth following an initiative by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The announcement came at a joint press conference held on Monday at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo.

Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi said that the initiative will host a variety of activities and events in Arab countries this year, through the launch of more than 44 programs. —AN
