2-day training workshop on mobile journalism to be held

A two-day training workshop on mobile journalism will be held in Karachi on 16th to 17th February 2023 under the Pakistan Information Center (PIC) project of the Press Information in which thirty working journalists would be trained.

The first training workshop of the year 2023 would be participated by working journalists from Sindh province, particularly Karachi.  The working journalists from various newspapers, TV channels and digital media will be trained on how to report on time using the fast and modern tools. The participants will also be taught about responsible use of mobile journalism thereby discouraging fake news.

Mr. Ayaz Khan, founder of Mojo Pakistan, will teach as the master trainer during the two-day training workshop.

Mr.Saeed Sarbazi, president of Karachi Press Club and other veteran journalists will also speak at the occasion. At the end of the two-day training workshop, journalists will also be provided with certificates and Director General (DG) Public Relations (PR) PID Mrs. Irum Tanweer will present certificates/shields to the trainers.The working journalists from various newspapers, TV channels and digital media will be trained on how to report on time using the fast and modern tools. The participants will also be taught about responsible use of mobile journalism thereby discouraging fake news.

Pakistan Information Center (PIC) has trained 350 journalists across Pakistan within a span of one and half years. Pakistan Information Center (PIC) is committed to increase the number of trained journalists under PIC project in the coming financial year.
