1757 suspicious connections

Detection teams of Islamabad Electric Supply Company have caught 1757 suspicious electricity connections in its five circles during April.

Chief Executive Officer IESCO Ch. Abdul Razaq said that besides ensuring continuity of power supply during the Holy month of Ramazan, prompt action against power theft was being taken.

Sharing the details, some 1705 meters found slow, two with hole in body and two meters were tempered while 48 were getting direct supply.
