16 Afghan Taliban members killed in fierce border clash with Pakistan Army

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army responded promptly to an unprovoked attack by Afghan Taliban at the Pak-Afghan border. Taliban started the strike by firing heavy weapons from the Palosin area and targeting Pakistani checkpoints.

The fighting continued until September 9, with Pakistani forces delivering a strong counterattack. This clash resulted in sixteen Taliban members being killed, 27 others wounded.
