13 police personnel involved in smuggling sacked

IGP Sindh Mushtaq Mehar has fired 13 Sindh police personnel found involved in smuggling. DIG Hyderabad had sacked 13 police officers and officials.The sacked police personnel include Habibullah, Irshad Ali, Ghulam Asghar, Sikandar Chandio, Abdul Aziz, Fazal Mohammad, Maulabakhsh, Piyar Ali Chandio, Zameer Jamali, Nazir Ahmad and Altaf Chandio. The Additional IG Hyderabad Range reinstated these police officers on September 7, 2020 However, Sindh IGP Mushtaq Mehr has canceled restoration orders. There are serious allegations against these police officers and officials, IGP Sindh said. “These officials destroyed the reputation of the police in the eyes of the people, the IGP said.
