The 2020 final in USA is still just more then a year away but things are getting in shape for great elections ahead. The next presidential elections will be held on November 3rd 2020. Latest polls shows Biden with 34% back up is the leading candidate from democrats while on the other side Democrats are hopeful of Trump’s trump once again.
The biggest game changer will be the voters’ mood and turn out at the last momemnt. Interestingly turnout holds an upward tendency as compared to 2016 elections when 60.2 % people came out to vote.
In 2012 the turnout was 57.5 which indicated a clear decline from 2008 when 62.3 % votes were casted. In 2004 60.4% and in 2000 54.2% votes were casted. This clearly indicates a bullish trend of voting in 2020. So who ever succeed in bringing more people out will have a better chace of winning.
The second key game changer are minorities in 2020 a projected 32 million Hispanics will be Eligible to vote becoming the single largest minority in USA overtaking blacks for the first time and 30 million blacks will also be eligible to vote while 11 million Asians will also vote. This is the highest numbers of minority vote in US history since 1970 and from 24% in 2000 minorities will be reach approximately 33% in 2020.
And with their voting patterns they are always very fond of using their right vote.
It’s too early to say that this is a bad news to Donald Trump and the republicans but at least this is not a good news to them because since last four years minorities are facing tough times ever since President Trump was seen as not so friend to the minorities. Even in 2016 minorities voted for democrats. Will they do it again? If they do, they can be emerge as the real game changer.
