President Board of Management Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi, SakibRafik has said that writer, singer, painter and artist are universally important.
He stated this while chairing the second meeting of the Board of Management of Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi. The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Management, Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Director of Public Relations Muhammad Awais, Babar Niazi, AzimIqbal, Asma Ismail and Hasan Abbas Raza.
Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed briefed the president board and members about the aims and objectives of the Arts Council and the implementation of the decisions taken in the first meeting.
President BoM SaqibRafiq said that Arts Council plays a very important role in promoting regional culture and development of knowledge and literature. He said that all energies will be used to bring the culture, arts, literature and culture of Rawalpindi to the world.
The meeting also decided to hold a cultural and food festival in the first week of March. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Board of Management visited the newly constructed Audio Video Studio in the Punjab Arts Council.
Director Arts Council told the board members that audio video production classes are being started in Arts Council very soon.
President BoM Punjab Arts Council SakibRafik asked all the members for positive suggestions for the promotion of art and culture.
