Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan Saturday inaugurated the Women Polytechnic Institute in Temergara along with inaugurating the Rescue 1122 Main station which will be responsible for prompt rescue operations in case of natural calamities or accidents within the jurisdiction of the district.
The Chief Minister during his visit also announced to give the complete status of a University to the Abdul Wali Khan University Campus in Temergara Lower Dir, up gradation of Temergara Headquarter hospital to Category A and resolution of land settlement cases in District Lower Dir. The Chief Minister also reassured that Chitral to Chakdara road is part of the CPEC project on which construction works will be initiated soon and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself.
Mahmood Khan also revealed that Goplam Irrigation scheme has been sent to PSDP which is expected to benefit 3 constituencies of Lower Dir simultaneously. He stated that Chakdara bypass road and Sanam Dam are approved projects whereas efforts are underway for establishment of industrial zone in Tehsil Adenzai of District Lower Dir. The Chief Minister, during his visit, also approved the development of tourist areas including Ban Shahi Laram Top, establishment of Category C hospital in Maidan, establishment of College, Tehsil Complex and beautification of the local Market along with announcing the construction of bridge at Koto area.
These announcements were made by the Chief Minister while addressing a gathering at newly constructed Temergara Medical College after holding multiple inaugurations of development schemes. Minister Health Hisham Inamullah Khan, PTI MPAs.
