KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rains for Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.
According to the synoptic situation, a trough of westerly wave is affecting the southern and upper parts of the country and is likely to persist over most parts till Monday.
Under these conditions, cloudy weather is expected in most districts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.
However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Tando Jam, Hyderabad and Sanghar during the period.
On Monday, dry weather is expected in most districts of the province and partly cloudy in southern districts.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.
In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 C on Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, scattered rains occurred in parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Mithi remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 12 C.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 18 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 72 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 90 per cent.
