During the meeting, the World Bank delegation appreciated the efforts of Mayor Karachi to improve the water supply and drainage system in the city.During the meeting, the World Bank delegation also assured Mayor Karachi of full cooperation for the improvement of water supply and drainage system in the city.On this occasion, Mayor Karachi Barrister MurtazaWahab said that with the joint cooperation of the Sindh Government and the World Bank, further improvements are being made in the Water Corporation under the reforms.
He said that with the joint cooperation of the Sindh Government and the World Bank, work is ongoing on various water supply and drainage projects and the completion of these projects will improve the city a lot. Earlier, the World Bank delegation also conducted a detailed inspection and review of Hydrants Management Center Water Corporation.
On the occasion of the visit, the CEO of Water Corporation gave a detailed briefing to the World Bank delegation on the reforms to be carried out in the Water Corporation including Hydrants Management Center and other issues.
On this occasion, the World Bank delegation appreciated the efforts of CEO Water Corporation on other reforms brought in Water Corporation including the establishment of Hydrants Management Center.
