Islamabad Capital Police Karachi Company andLohiBher police team have arrested two wanted members of notorioussnatcher and bike lifter gang involved in numerous snatching and bikelifting activities and recovered snatched mobile phones, motorbike,weapon used in crime and three stolen motorbikes from their possession,a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital CityPolice officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad CapitalPolice had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Karachi company police team usedtechnical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wantedmember of a notorious snatcher gang involved in numerous snatchingactivities in various areas of Karachi company police station. Theaccused was identified as Muhammad Nazeer. Police team also recoveredmobile phones, motorbike and weapon used in crime from his possession.
Similarly, the LohiBher police team used technical and human resourcesand succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a notorious bike liftergang involved in numerous bike lifting activities in various areas ofLohiBher police station. The accused was identified as Shahram. Policeteam also recovered three stolen motorbikes from his possession.
Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused andfurther investigation is underway.
