Wana press club cabinet takes oath

The elected cabinet of District Press Club Wana took oath from Commissioner DI Khan Division Amir Afaq. The oath ceremony was held at the AC Wana office.

Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Amjad Meraj, Assistant Commissioner Wana Basheer Khan and Additional Assistant Commissioner Wana Dr. Sadiq Ali were present during the oath ceremony.

Among those who took oath were District Press Club Wana President Zafar Khan Wazir, General Secretary Zardad Khan, Finance Secretary Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Vice President Noor Ali Khan and Chairman District Press Club Wana Adam Khan Wazir.

On the occasion, Commissioner DI Khan Division Amir Afaq said that journalism is the fourth pillar of the state. Journalists should play their full role in the betterment of the society.

DC South Waziristan Amjad Meraj said that the district administration would make every effort to resolve the legitimate issues of journalists in a timely manner so that they would not face any difficulties.
