Administrator and Sindh Government Spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab summoned the Chief Fire Officer of Karachi Metropolitan Municipality and the Commander of Urban Rescue to submit a report within 48 hours for the details of the fire incident at Muhammad Ali Housing Society (MAHS).
An instruction letter has been issued to the station officer of Manzoor Colony Fire Station as to why the fire tender was delayed in reaching the affected area.
Strict action will be taken against them, the Chief Fire Officer Karachi said while briefing Administrator Murtaza Wahab about the incident.
Meanwhile, Administrator Murtaza Wahab visited the home of the victims of the fire in the Muhammad Ali society to offer condolences and expressed deep sorrow over the incident to their family members. Wahab said that this was a very sad incident and he shared in the grief of his family.
He prayed that May Allah forgive the deceased and grant patience to the bereaved.
