PM: Cancer hospital
Cancer is considered one of the most challenging health issues all over the world. Mostly for those countries which are in the step of developing like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc.
where Cancer is spreading in a big way. The main reasons of the Cancer is poverty, illiteracy, lack of Cognizant especially in aback areas.
However, Balochistan is most backward province which lacks several facilities but Cancer is one of the most horrible ones. Nevertheless, the civil society of Balochistan is showing less interest in regard of Cancer hospital.
People of Balochistan visit Karachi where they spend enormous money for treatment. Hence, it is high time the Government of Balochistan should establish at least one hospital, if not more, in the province and solve this critical issue which can be big obstacle for our Government. Worthy Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is champion in this regard, may also look into the matter.

WAPDA hospital in Islamabad
I want to draw the kind attention of the Premier that WAPDA was established in the year 1958.
But it is a matter of great concern that 64 years have elapsed, the most powerful officers of WAPDA have not yet constructed at least one full fledged WAPDA hospital in Islamabad for the convenience of WAPDA employees of IESCO Islamabad region so that all types of medical facilities should be available to WAPDA employees at one & only one location under one roof.
It is worth mentioning that although CDA is a small department compared to WAPDA but CDA has already established one small type of CDA Medical Care Centre for the CDA Employees in 1965 which consisted of 60 beds, Xrays Plant etc & having sufficient stock of almost needful medicines to provide medical treatment of all common diseases of the CDA Employees.
Similarly, on completion of construction works, the CDA Hospital began functioning in March 1981 in a most efficient way.
But on other side, the key post-officers of WAPDA are not willing to construct a hospital in Islamabad for WAPDA employees of IESCO region Islamabad.
Presently, the IESCO has established dispensaries but it is not a proper/justified solution of the most serious problems of WAPDA employees.
Though a good initiative, yet these dispensaries are not a replacement of a full-fledged hospital.
Employees of IESCO region are facing most cumbersome problems when they are being referred to far away medical consultant on WAPDA panel.
In view of the above, I request the PM that do justice in redressing the genuine demand of the WAPDA employees by issuing strict orders to the Chairman, WAPDA, Lahore for the immediate construction of a full-fled hospital in Islamabad within six months.

Feudal clutches
in Sindh
The contagion of the feudal system in Sindh has engulfed the society and spread its roots like a tree.
Moreover, the soil of the grave of an oppressed person is still wet, and feudal influential take the matter into their hand and decide it through the notorious Jirga in line with their myogenic whims and wishes.
In almost all cases the victim’s family is coerced and threatened of dire consequences to submitting them to a settlement based on Jirga rather than the laws of the land.
Resultantly, the victim’s family is paid a meagre money as blood- money and the perpetrators go scot-free only to hunt other innocents and this vicious cycle continues unabated. The feudalistic and tribal-based society is also responsible for a broken judicial system.
This aggressive and stinking feudalism, that has hollowed out society like a termite from within, has become so powerful that anyone who stands up to it and tries to overthrow it has to pay a huge price of it whereas much has been written against this and there have been many protests as yet no wave has shaken this system.
If we look it at from a historical perspective, we have to go beyond the Mughal period. That time anyone thinks that posting on social media can end this feudal system then he is the owner of his own will, however, this system cannot be abolished without a major political movement or legislation.

Dwindled elegance
of life
The quest of unfolding the mystery of the universe led the human being to pinnacles of the advancements but it made the scope and elegance of life dwindle.
Although we discovered as well as invented so many therapies to cure or to rehabilitate the deteriorated form of everything it is failed to bring back the majesty of life.
The happiness had said adieu for a long time ago, but due to appetite to unfurl the secrets of the world never let mankind ponder that the salubriousness of life is being wanned.
Tragically, we are not living life but passing its duration. The deadlocked way to the happiness and prosperity of life is implicating that we didn’t yet discover the meaning of coming into this world, perhaps the consanguinity of happiness to life is to discover yourself.
The gratitude towards life is being dwindled and it is downright that happiness lies in gratitude sans it, the results are unfolded.
It is needless to say that every one has their own list of grievances but no one is endeavouring to pay gratitude to the positive things and the blessings they are blessed with.
The advancement of the world is not reflecting the basic etiquettes and manners one should possess in order to be accommodating and obliging.
The happiness one is appetising to possess lies in gratitude. The therapy world applies to bring happiness and prolong prosperity is to be appreciative and grateful towards the blessings they are gifted with.
