Mob lynching

Mob lynching is now very common in Pakistan. Despite having many laws and regulations, we have witnessed the death of many people by mob lynching. The recent incidents of mob lynching have shown animalism in this regard, which is totally against Islamic rules. Islam doesn’t guide us to kill a person brutally by his or her statements. There are some restrictions from which the government can take action to stop blasphemy.

Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) has given us a lesson of forgiving; even though we are disobeying our prophet by our actions. On the other hand, our courts and judges are fearful regarding the decision in mob lynching cases which is a very bad sign for the future of the country. Thereby in our country, these kinds of happenings are increasing. Therefore, the government should take tangible steps to control this issue.

Remembered Musharraf

General Pervez Musharraf passed into history, Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. He will be remembered for his bold initiatives that include: restoration of Khokhrapar train service after decades and Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service to facilitate people to people contact.

He tried to create a new strategy for the solution of the Kashmir issue to meet the ultimate goal of plebiscite step by step. His reforms for the establishment of a potent local government and public safety commission to check police performance will be taken as his achievements. Pakistan came out of the IMF program in his regime. He brought 18 years of voter’s age in conformity with the provisions of 1973 Constitution after 28 years of its promulgation. He introduced a sizeable participation of women in the assemblies and local government institutions. He upgraded the Federal Government Urdu College to the level of a full-fledged University to promote the national language.

The surroundings of Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum were developed in well-laid green lawns in order to beautify the environment during his regime. He possessed the courage to accept his mistakes. Like other past dictators, he did not set military courts. His downfall was not the consequence of imposing emergency but he lost the material support of his original constituency. Future historians will better judge his actions and deeds in depth.

Drugs use in Zimbabwe

It is pathetic that the situation in Zimbabwe is fast shrinking financially, socially, economically, morally as the fabric of the society is being torn apart daily because of numerous problems that country is facing.

The government of Zimbabwe pretending as if they are not seeing the drug abuse which is happening on the streets of all local towns. The youth are frustrated to the extent that they have indulged themselves into drug abuse , histalix cough syrup crystal meth is now the order of the day in the local streets of Zimbabwe. This has been caused by the unemployment rate youths have no hope in their own country .

90% of the Zimbabwean youths don’t know a payslip how it looks like and it really proves that the current government cant help the nation . If one can’t afford to fly for greener pastures surely you will die in your own motherland and they don’t care as long their tables are full and they are enjoying holidays.

If President Emmerson Mnangagwa is insane and impaired from grasping the realities of near or collapsing Zimbabwe, he should be forced into mental asylum before nothing substantial is left in Zimbabwe for the future generations. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has failed to create employment, create better living standards in Zimbabwe and he has failed to attract Zimbabwe scattered everywhere in the world to come back to their home country. He should immediately resign.

World Day of the sick

World Day of the Sick is observed annually on 11 February, the same day as the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. The day was established by Pope John Paul II in 1992 to offer support and comfort to those who are sick and to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with illness and disability. The theme for World Day of the Sick 2023 is “Standing beside those who suffer on a path of charity”.

The day is a time for reflection, prayer and action, and is an opportunity for the global community to come together to support and care for those who are suffering from illness and disability. It is also a time to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with illness and to encourage efforts to improve the quality of life for those who are sick.In addition to offering support and comfort to those who are suffering from illness, World Day of the Sick is also an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contribution of those who work in healthcare and to recognise the critical role they play in promoting health and wellbeing.

The idea for World Day of the Sick was inspired by the numerous healings and miracles that have taken place at the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France. Pope John Paul II saw the day as an opportunity to promote the importance of care and support for those who are sick and to encourage efforts to improve the quality of life for those who are suffering from illness.

Since its establishment, World Day of the Sick has become an important observance in the Catholic Church, and is celebrated by individuals, communities and organisations around the world. The day is a time for reflection, prayer and action, and is an opportunity for the global community to come together to support and care for those who are sick.
