On Wednesday the victim in the motorway gang rape case identified the two accused suspect, Abid Malhi and Shafqat.
According to SSP Investigation Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani, the identification parade of the two accused involved in the motorway abuse case was completed at Lahore Camp Jail. Both the accused Abid Malhi and Shafqat were brought before the victim.
Abid Malhi was arrested by the police from Manga Mandi 33 days after the incident, after which he was brought to Lahore and produced before the court. He was arrested from Depalpur and is currently in police custody on physical remand.
According to sources, the accused Abid Malhi also confessed to the crime during the interrogation.
