Authorities apprehended two suspects on Thursday in relation to the heartbreaking case of Sarim, the seven-year-old whose body was discovered in a water tank 11 days after his disappearance in North Karachi.
Karachi police officials confirmed the arrests occurred at the same apartment where Sarim’s remains were found just days prior.
The investigation team is set to conduct thorough inquiries on the suspects, including sending their blood samples for forensic analysis later today. In a bid to ensure a comprehensive investigation, IT specialists will also be involved.
It’s important to highlight that a total of nine individuals have been taken into custody since the tragic recovery of Sarim’s body from the underground water tank, as authorities diligently work to uncover the full scope of this grim incident.
