Two robbers were killed during a police operation in Qasba Colony, while one police officer sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, according to DIG Irfan Baloch. The incident unfolded when the suspects broke into a four-story house near Kati Pahari, intending to commit a robbery. A resident managed to reach a nearby Rangers office to alert them about the intrusion. Acting swiftly, Rangers surrounded the building and informed the Mohammadpur Police Post.
Upon arrival, the police launched a carefully planned operation. During the exchange of gunfire, both robbers were neutralized, ensuring the safety of the residents. Iin the process, a police officer was injured and is currently receiving medical attention. Authorities revealed that the robbers attempted to flee and entered another house, threatening the family inside. The prompt coordination between the Rangers and police averted further harm and successfully neutralized the situation.
