Two notorious robbers were killed in a police encounter here in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to details, the police signaled to stop a motorcycle carrying three suspects near Lane No 5, in Westridge police station jurisdiction.

The bike riders instead of stopping started firing at police and attempted to flee. In retaliatory firing of police, two notorious robbers wanted by police in dozens of cases were killed which their cohort managed to escape.
