In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have terminated the services of two more Muslim teachers from Kupwara district.
The authorities have set up a Special Task Force (STF) to initiate action against government employees suspected of anti-India and pro-freedom activities. This move was widely criticized by politicians and civil society members.
With this, the number of employees terminated on charges of being involved in anti-India activities has gone to six, which also include a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Earlier, the authorities had dismissed school teacher, Idrees Jan, a resident of Kupwara district from government service without holding an inquiry.
An Assistant Professor has also been dismissed from his service for his alleged involvement in ‘anti-India’ activities.—KMS
