The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) immigration staff deputed at Karachi airport on Wednesday arrested two Iranian citizens who were travelling to Sharjah on Pakistani passports.
Immigration Officer Ijaz Ahmad Khan told media that the passengers named Ahmad Baloch and Jaseem Baloch were about to board Air Arabia flight
when they came across an FIA official named Hidayatullah at the immigration counter, who checked their documents and found out that they were not Pakistanis as the NADRA record did not contain their family history. “On questioning, they told that they were Iranian citizens.
They were later handed over to FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Cell,” the immigration officer explained.
