With the possibility of snowfall looming over the scenic hills of MalikaKohsarMurree, the City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has issued a special advisory for tourists, aimed at ensuring their safety and convenience during their visit.

Chief Traffic Officer Taimur Khan assured that traffic conditions on all highways leading to Murree are currently normal. However, in anticipation of potential snowfall, additional personnel have been deployed in MalikaKohsarMurree to manage the influx of visitors.

Emphasizing the importance of preparedness, Khan stated that awareness pamphlets are being distributed to incoming tourists at various entry points. Tourists are advised to travel in well-equipped vehicles suitable for snowy conditions and driven by licensed drivers. Additionally, the use of anti-cooling liquid in vehicles is recommended to prevent freezing.

Furthermore, tourists are urged to equip their vehicles with tire chains for traction in snow and to carry extra warm clothing for added comfort and safety. Khan cautioned against keeping vehicle windows completely closed while driving, as it can lead to carbon monoxide accumulation, posing a serious health risk.
