It is very sad to understand that so many countries from across the world have been at the crossroads on various fronts and for a variety of reasons – this fact having been more so even during the technological era. Fighting with one another, violating international guidelines and rules, suppressing others’ rights and trespassing on the growth of other nations have unfortunately become routine. The on-going tussle between the USA and Iran over the Grace 1 supertanker now being anchored in Gibraltar is one such revealing example of this story.
Economic freedom, sovereignty and hegemony/dominance over others on various fronts have long been disturbing the world peace to the highest degree. My native areas like Tuticorin, Korkai, Tiruchendur, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil and Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu are brimming with big trees, agricultural activities and crops like banana. And those hard working farmers have been having good rapport and cordial relationship with others/workers during the course of mending the fields or cultivating the crops without which nothing will happen. Such understanding among them is necessary emotionally and psychologically. Similarly, countries the world over should cooperate with one another to break all the barriers, paving the way for economic growth and peace.
