In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said now is the time to resolve the Kashmir dispute with wisdom in view of the change sweep-ing across the globe.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt talking to different delegations in Srinagar said, world is showing con-cern about the dispute over Kashmir which is a posi-tive development.
He said, wars are no solution to the disputes but meaningful and result-oriented dialogue is the only solution to the disputes, particularly the dispute over Kashmir between Pakistan and India.
He added that the settlement of Kashmir was imperative for per-manent peace and prosperity in the region.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said that India should sense the change and start a dialogue process with Pakistan for settlement of the Kashmir dispute once and once for all.
He said the people of Kashmir had rendered un-precedented sacrifices for the sacred cause of Kashmir so the Kashmir dispute should be resolved according to the will of Kashmiris.
He added that Imran Khan’s government needed to be commended for its practical approach to the Kashmir cause.—KMS
