Three sisters colluded to poison their parents and brother before eloping there house for marrying the men of their choice on Thursday.
According to police, the incident occurred in Madharnyawala area of Hafizabad where three sisters served poisonous lassi (yogurt drink) to their parents and brother.
“The girls actually wanted to marry the persons of the choice but due to unwillingness of their parents, they resorted to the extreme act before eloping from the house”, the police sources informed.
The elderly couple and their son, all in an unconscious state, were shifted to an emergency ward of teh DHQ Hospital Hafizabad.
The affected parents reported that their three daughters aged between 14 to 23 years served them lassi, having some poisonous substance due to which they all fell unconscious, adding that the girl eloped from their house.
The family members alleged that the girls wanted to marry the men of their own choice and finding their parents unwilling they mixed poison in their drink and then ran away.
